  • Ensure that you have all the necessary documents at hand. This includes copies of your high school or Bachelor’s degree transcripts, Test scores from college entrance exams (such as SAT and ACT), Academic honors, and achievements, among others.
  • Create your Common App account, and enter your basic information (name, address, home phone number, date of birth).
  • Add college
  • Understand the requirements such as Test policies, Courses and Grades, Deadlines, Application fees, and recommendations, among others. 
  • Plan your essays which include Common app essays, College-specific questions
  • Submit your application.

Applying to Graduate School

While applying for graduate school admissions at Virginia Tech university, USA,  you must submit your application online along with a fee of $75. You must submit a scanned copy of your college transcripts along with your online application. Importantly, you will have to ascertain whether the department you are applying to requires Letters of Recommendation (LORs).
