Santa Clara University (SCU) is located in the heart of the ‘Silicon Valley’—Santa Clara, California.  With a picturesque campus spanning over 105 acres, and some of the best educational infrastructures in the US, the university offers world-class education to its students. SCU was established in the year 1777.  However, it attained the status of a university only in 1912 after the addition of its Engineering and Law schools. Undergraduate Admission 

The application process and requirements for admissions to an undergraduate degree program are : 

• Complete the online application form on the ‘Common Application Portal’ (a platform that allows students to apply to the university of their choice anywhere in the US).
• Submit your high school transcripts.
• You must also submit your secondary school report along with the mid-year report.
• Additionally, you must also acquire and submit one academic teacher evaluation.
• International students must submit their English proficiency test scores. The scores sought for different schools are available on the university’s official website.
• ACT and SAT scores are no longer accepted as part of the admissions process at Santa Clara. However, you can submit them in order to add weightage to your overall profile. 
• International students are required to attend interviews either online or in person. You must register directly through third-party video interview platforms such as  Vericant, InitialView, or Duolingo.

Graduate Admissions

Admission requisites for graduate courses vary depending on the school you are applying to. For example, the application requirements at Leavey School of Business for an MBA program are as follows :

Campus Life, Fees, and Scholarships

The tuition fee is unit based: US $1580 per unit. One unit is equal to one hour of in-class instruction and two hours of out-of-class work per week. Every international student mandatorily requires 8 units or more during every academic quarter. The undergraduate annual tuition fee is $56,880. Much like the admission requirements, fees for graduate courses are also specific to the school applied.
