Global Korean Scholarships Program 

The Global Korean Scholarships program is funded by the Korean government for international students who wish to pursue a graduate program in Korea. The object is to accelerate education in a global setting. The scholarship is offered for all graduate programs and is not limited to a specific field or discipline. However, you must be eligible to be able to avail this scholarship. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is as follows: 

  • You must have completed your undergraduate program. 
  • You must have an aggregate of 80% in your undergraduate program.
  • You must have a valid proof of your nationality and citizenship. 
  • You must be under the age of 40 years.

The benefits you avail through this scholarship are as follows:

  • The airfare for your journey back and forth to Korea is funded.
  • You will receive a monthly allowance of 1,000,000 KRW which is approximately INR 63,000.
  • You will receive a monthly research allowance of 210,000 KRW which is approximately INR 13,000.
  • You will receive a settlement allowance of 200,000 KRW once you arrive, which is approximately INR 11,000.
  • The entire amount of your tuition fee is waived off. 
  • You will receive a monthly allowance of 20,000 KRW, which is approximately INR 1300  to cover your medical expenses and insurance.

Royal Thai Government Scholarships

The Royal Thai Government (RTG) provides numerous scholarships for those planning on pursuing a masters at the Asian Institute of Technology. The RTG offers “His Majesty the King’s Scholarships for Master’s Programs” for those who want to do a masters in the field of science and technology and management. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is as follows: 

  • You must have completed your undergraduate program. 
  • You must have an excellent academic record.
  • You must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above. 
  • You must belong to an Asian country.
  • You must have two well-drafted recommendation letters. 
  • You must have an IELTS score of 6.5 and above. 

If you are granted the scholarship, the benefits of the scholarship are as follows:

  • Your tuition fees will be covered .
  • Your living costs will be covered. 
  • Your accommodation costs will be covered.

It is important to note all these costs are covered for the duration of your graduate program. 

Singapore Government Scholarships 

The Singapore Government offers scholarships to students who want to pursue an MS in Singapore. As part of the scholarship, students can pursue an MS in the top three universities in Singapore such as the National University of Singapore, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Nanyang Technological University. The scholarships are fully funded and are open to all nationalities. There are over 240 scholarships offered every year and students from 170 countries have had the opportunity to pursue them. The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are as follows: 

  • You must have completed your undergraduate program. 
  • You must have an excellent academic record. 
  • You must have a good IELTS score of a minimum of 6.5 or above.
  • You must have two well-drafted recommendation letters. 

If granted the scholarship, you will have the following benefits:

  • The tuition fees of your program will be covered. 
  • You will receive a monthly allowance of $1400 to $1800. 
  • You will receive a settlement allowance of $ 800, once you arrive in Singapore. 
  • You will receive an airfare allowance of  $1000. 

MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship

The Japanese Government offers the Monbukagakusho MEXT scholarships to those who wish to pursue a graduate program in Japan. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) funds this scholarship. This scholarship covers all expenses you will incur while pursuing a masters in Japan. The scholarship is applicable to graduate programs in all disciplines and subject areas. Also, it is only available to those who are residents of countries that have diplomatic relations with Japan. Some of these include Asia, Africa, Middle East, North America, Latin America, and Europe. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are as follows: 

  • You must have an ID proof indicating your nationality. 
  • You must be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
  • You must have completed 16 years of education.

If granted, the scholarship will cover the following expenses: 

  • Your tuition fee will be covered. 
  • You will receive a monthly allowance to cover your living expenses.
  • Your travel expenses will be covered. 
  • Your accommodation expenses will be covered.
