GRE Special Handling Charges

While the GRE fees in INR is 16,096, the ETS charges an additional amount of $53.90, which is approximately 4036.79 INR, to reschedule and select a new date for the examination. You can reschedule the exam either by visiting the official ETS website or by connecting with a representative of the Regional Registration Centre over the phone. The ETS does not accept payments in cash. However, you can pay your GRE test fee 2021 through any of the following modes of payment.

GRE Refund Policy
If you want to cancel the exam, the maximum refund that you will receive is 50% of the total cost of the GRE exam. As you might be aware, the GRE exam fee in India is $213 or 16,096 INR. And if you wish to cancel the examination, you will receive $106 or approximately 8,048 INR. However, to receive the refund, you have to cancel your registration no later than at least four days before the examination. The refund amount will be credited to your bank account, from which you’ve paid the exam fee. In the event you cancel within four days of the exam date, then your total exam fee will be forfeited.
